Term 3 is underway...

It was lovely to see Kauri Whanau back on Monday. A newsletter outlining term 3 happenings will be coming your way very soon.

Canine Writing Motivation: On Monday we were excited to welcome 4 sled dogs and their owners. We learnt heaps about them and got to ask questions and have cuddles. Over the next two weeks descriptive writing will focus on sled dogs or wolves in some context.

Human Rights Studies: On Monday afternoons this term the children will be learning about human rights. They have chosen an area to focus on, women's rights, children's rights, racial issues or disability rights. The group focusing on disability rights are being taught by Prudence and a range of people with disabilities from CCS Disability Action.
